Join JPMorgan Chase as a visionary leader to enhance our capabilities as the Principal Architect. In this key role, you'll oversee a specific architectural area, making a significant impact at one of the world's leading companies.
As the Principal Architect for the Corporate Sector in Document Platform Team, you'll lead architectural efforts across teams, technologies, and projects. Your expertise in architecture applications, processes, and product management will drive complex projects and initiatives. You'll be the primary decision-maker for your teams, fostering innovation to achieve our target state architecture goals.
Job responsibilities
  • Leads the development and implementation of architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Designs scalable, robust, and secure platform architectures.
  • Evaluates and integrate emerging technologies, including AI models and Gen AI tools.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of platform initiatives.
  • Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Monitors platform performance and implement optimizations.
  • Ensures platform reliability, availability, and security.
  • Establishes architectural governance processes and conduct regular reviews.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of platform architecture.
  • Communicates architectural decisions to stakeholders.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identifies risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience
  • Proven experience as a Platform Architect with a strong track record.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, and AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with AI models and frameworks.
  • Ability to align architectural vision with business objectives.
  • Experience in managing software vulnerabilities.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working at code level
  • Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
