About the Role:

The IT department at CrowdStrike is at the forefront of enabling our company's rapid growth and technological innovation. We are looking for a Director AI Program Manager to help lead the charge in leveraging impactful Generative AI capabilities that enhance productivity, provide new internal capabilities, and unlock opportunities for additional revenue.  We’re seeking a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about the responsible use AI.  You will report to the Senior Director of Enterprise AI and collaborate closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Legal, IT, Marketing, and more.
 

What You'll Do:

  • AI Governance. A core responsibility of this role is to advance responsible data and AI practices across the enterprise.  The practices should be bottom up, ensuring that teams across the company proactively improve data and take steps to secure AI capabilities.  The aim should be to maximize safety and security, while minimizing bureaucracy.  You will organize the Enterprise AI Safety Board that sets standards and advises on high-risk use cases, coordinate the AI steward network across the company, and partner with the legal team on regularity compliance. 

  • AI Initiatives.  Oversee AI initiatives such as adoption of a new AI platform, transformation of a major workflow using AI, or an employee training program that leads to an AI certification.  Manage rollouts, including communication and training.  Ensure that outstanding AI use across the company is celebrated and can inspire others.

  • AI Community.  Develop programs that advance AI knowledge across the enterprise.  Support the development of an internal AI website that provides clarity on AI tool use and opportunities for learning.  Coordinate AI champions across the function to maximize support and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years working in technical program management.  Not all which needs to be in AI.

  • Working knowledge of machine learning.  You will have at least built a few models, and be able to explain to someone the foundation concepts of ML.

  • Have expertise in AI safety and governance.  You have perspectives on operational and ethical risks, and examples to share with others.  You are familiar with types harms.  You have knowledge of GDPR, DMA/DMA, California AI Transparency Act, the US AI executive orders, the NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001.

  • You are driven to stay current on technology trends and the latest developments in AI.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in early-stage product environments—entrepreneurial, resourceful, and execution-oriented.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to align with stakeholders.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $170,000 - $260,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
