Guidewire has just announced a launch of a new major product – Guidewire PricingCenter. Given the strategic focus on the success of this initiative we are increasing our sales capacity in the NA market and are growing our sales team.

We are looking for an experienced sales executive, who will help us drive the market success of the new offering. It is a newly created role focused on leading PricingCenter sales in the US market. It is a role reporting directly to the GVP of Pricing & Analytics Sales for AMER Region. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for driving deep discussions on pricing and underwriting the insurance carriers.

Job Description

 

What we expect from you:
  • Min 8 years of experience in selling software to actuarial or underwriting roles, and selling enterprise software to C and C-1 Level at insurance carriers.

  • Good understanding of the insurance industry and extensive understanding of Underwriting and Pricing domain.  

  • Proven track record in signing 6-7 digit deals.

  • Experience in working on sales processes 6-18 months long.

  • Outstanding analytical and communication skills.

  • Willingness to take ownership and initiative.

  • Readiness to travel on business (approx. 50% of time).

  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales will be a plus.

  • Experience with pricing/actuarial domain will be a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Work closely with our VP on defining and executing a region focused sales strategy for pricing and analytics products.

  • Collaborate with internal account teams to identify and lead up-sell opportunities to existing customers.

  • Work with the inside sales team to generate pipeline from net new accounts.

  • Engage with prospects to uncover their needs and come up with a compelling proposition.

  • Lead the sales process from the first contact till contract signature.

  • Participate in industry events and conferences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000 - $198,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
