Seneca Holdings is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build expertise in government contracting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior pricing staff and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely proposals, while learning the fundamentals of pricing strategy, cost estimation, and proposal compliance. This role is a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing cost and pricing models in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Gather, organize, and validate data from internal stakeholders for proposal submissions.
- Enter, review, and analyze cost data using Microsoft Excel and other pricing tools.
- Maintain and update pricing-related files, templates, and databases.
- Support creation of pricing narratives and supporting documentation for proposals.
- Collaborate with contracts, finance, and program teams to ensure pricing aligns with technical and business.
- Learn and apply best practices for competitive pricing and proposal compliance.
- Assist with post-submission activities such as responses to customer questions and fact-finding requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
- 0–5 years of professional experience; prior exposure to government contracting or proposal work is a plus, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tasks, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; familiarity with SharePoint a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical proposal deadlines.
Work Environment
- 100% remote with occasional travel required (<10%).
- May require occasional extended hours during major proposal deadlines.
