Job Overview:

The Pricer owns pricing build-up for proposals, ROMs, budgetary estimates, and customer submissions. This role turns product assumptions, labor inputs, BOM data, production timing, payment terms, and contract structure into clean, defensible pricing. The Pricer works closely with BD, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, contracts, and engineering to make sure pricing is competitive, explainable, and tied to real execution assumptions. 


Core responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain proposal pricing models, ROMs, and cost-volume inputs. 
  • Support hardware, NRE, integration, sustainment, spares, training, and delivery pricing. 
  • Coordinate inputs from engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and BD. 
  • Track assumptions, confidence levels, cost drivers, margin, cash timing, and risks. 
  • Help prepare pricing narratives, basis-of-estimate support, and internal pricing reviews. 
  • Maintain version control across pricing files and ensure the team knows which numbers are current. 

Ideal background 

  • 4–7 years in defense pricing, FP&A, program finance, cost estimating, or proposal pricing. 
  • Strong Excel/modeling skills and comfort with incomplete assumptions. 
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, OTA/CSO pricing, cost volumes, BOEs, and defense hardware programs preferred. 
  • Able to work fast without turning the pricing process into bureaucracy. 

Compensation:

Salary: $115000- $135000 + Equity + Benefits ( Healthcare, Vision, Dental, 401k, and Lunch)
