The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our growing Advertiser Pricing team. The right person is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex business challenges and drive measurable business impact. In this role, you will optimize advertiser pricing strategies, support revenue forecasting, and influence key business decisions through data-driven insights. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Account Management to develop scalable analytical solutions that improve marketplace performance and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do:
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify pricing optimization opportunities, marketplace trends, and revenue growth drivers.

  • Develop data-driven pricing recommendations that maximize revenue while balancing advertiser performance and marketplace health.

  • Manage a portfolio of advertiser accounts by monitoring performance, optimizing pricing strategies, and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Monitor marketplace performance, investigate performance fluctuations, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.

  • Support yield forecasting by analyzing historical performance, evaluating key business drivers, and developing revenue projections across products, publishers, and markets.

  • Partner with senior team members to maintain and enhance forecasting models, monitor forecast accuracy, and communicate forecast assumptions and risks to stakeholders.

  • Support experimentation and ongoing performance measurement to evaluate pricing strategies and business initiatives.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Business Operations to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Continuously improve pricing processes, reporting, and analytical workflows through automation and process optimization.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, BI, CS, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.

  • Proven ability to organize and analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, etc.).

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

  • Experience building dashboards using Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical thinking, business judgment, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

  • Experience in digital advertising, marketplace businesses, e-commerce, fintech, or related industries is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.

*Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus & Equity

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
