About Us:
Maverick Payments is a family-owned and privately held full-service payment provider. Located in Calabasas, California, Maverick has created innovative technology designed for sales organizations, such as ISO’s and ISV’s, looking to monetize payments by reselling our white-labeled payments stack. Our payment products include merchant acquiring services, a proprietary gateway, ACH processing, fraud & chargeback tools, analytics, and other value-add services. Maverick’s team includes underwriting, risk management, compliance & legal, technology & product development, on-boarding, customer support, information technology, and more.
About the Position: 
Reporting to the Premier Partnerships Manager, the Premier Partnership Development Representative II (PPDRII) is responsible providing support and business services to Premier Partners and customers related, by enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing revenues associated with merchant customers solicited by strategic business partners. 

  • Identifying value-based opportunities to increase Company’s revenue derived from customer activity.
  • Recommending and implementing processes and/or strategies for identification and acquisition of, and development of relationships with, strategic partners.
  • Responding to inquiries related to Strategic Partnership Development, internally and externally, exercising discretion and applying independent judgment consistent with Company values.
  • Completing projects related to Business Development and/or Strategic Partnership Development.
  • Advising on policy and procedure enhancements to enhance Strategic Partnership Development function throughout the Company.
  • Maintaining close relationships with strategic partners on Company’s behalf.
  • Monitoring performance and evaluating value of strategic partner assets to independently identify and implement enhancements and improvements in customer/partner experience in alignment with Company’s strategic goals.
  • Assigning oversight of partner relationships to Strategic Relationship Managers to handle the relationship after onboarding.
  • Collaborating with the Partner Support Department and the Business Development Department to maximize partner and customer experience.
  • Participating in planning and directing the work of Strategic Relationship Managers in collaboration with other Company personnel.
  • Remaining involved in an oversight capacity after onboarding to build trust, confidence, and loyalty among strategic partners.
  • Facilitating revenue growth via product enhancements and service promotions.
  • Handling incoming calls from strategic partners and working directly with external and internal personnel to resolve any complex or novel escalated issues which may arise within the relationship.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in merchant services, experience specific to partner support/partner relations preferred.
  • Experience with high-risk payment processing required. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Microsoft Excel.
  • Works on-site at Company’s Calabasas location; or 
  • A regular remote work schedule may be considered based on location.

Pay Range: $29-$45/hr.
