We are seeking Pre-Analytical Services Associate to join IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA.

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Support the receipt, storage, and shipment of clinical specimens to ensure accurate handling and compliance with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assist with receipt and opening of consignments and shipments

  • Conduct quality checks of patient information forms and escalate discrepancies to senior staff

  • Dispose or recycle kit shipping supplies appropriately

  • Perform secondary checks of shipping materials to ensure specimens are not left behind

  • Prepare specimens for long-term storage or client shipment and manage sample disposition

  • Respond to after-hour alarms and other critical job functions

  • Maintain equipment and assist with inventory and workstation cleanup

  • Organize work areas and perform administrative duties as requested by management

What We Are Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow

  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures

  • Familiarity with specimen handling, shipment protocols, and inventory procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and regulatory guidelines

  • Effective communication and collaboration with coworkers, managers, and clients

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
