About Dora Factory

Dora Factory is a leader in privacy-preserving voting technology. It develops the anonymous MACI (aMACI) protocol and its supporting infrastructure, pushing the boundaries of trustless, anonymous, and autonomous governance technology.

World MACI is the first private, decentralized polling platform built on Dora Factory’s aMACI protocol. MACI XL enables organizations and global communities to create and manage polling topics and governance rounds.

About the Role

We’re looking for a PR & Community Coordinator to help amplify the brand of Dora Factory and its products, creating compelling content that resonates across communities. You’ll act as both storyteller and community liaison, executing campaigns, managing communications and cultivating relationships that expand our global presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PR- and community-engagement strategies aligned with Dora Factory’s mission and ecosystem goals.

  • Produce and manage high-quality content (press releases, blog posts, social media, video/audio clips) that showcases Dora Factory’s technology, and grow World MACI / MACI XL.

  • Engage with developer communities, DAOs, media outlets, content creators and influencers in your region (US/UK or Greater China) to build strong partnerships and amplify Dora Factory’s voice.

  • Manage regional social media channels and community forums: drive conversations, monitor sentiment, moderate interactions and identify opportunities for storytelling and campaign activation.

  • Coordinate with global marketing, growth, product and BD teams to ensure consistent messaging, localized execution and cross-region alignment.

  • Track media mentions, community engagement metrics (reach, share, sentiment) and deliver analysis and recommendations for optimisation.

  • Organize or support regional events, webinars, meetups and partnerships that raise Dora Factory’s profile and foster ecosystem connections.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of professional experience in PR, community coordination, content creation, or media roles—ideally in tech, AI, Web3, and relevant platform technology companies.

  • Proven track record of content creation in media, digital or startup environments (articles, podcasts, videos).

  • Experience managing social platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Discord, WeChat, Telegram) in a regionally-specific context.

  • Familiar with analytics tools, media-monitoring tools and community-engagement tracking.

  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, adaptable across formats (long-form articles, social posts, video scripts).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage diverse audiences and build relationships across communities.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, cross-regional, remote-friendly environment; able to coordinate across time-zones and cultures.

  • Multilingual with exceptional English language skills, familiarity with global social media / ecosystem and global community network.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in blockchain, developer tooling or crypto-native communities.

  • Experience in disruptive media technologies, such as prediction markets and LLM.

Send an email with three bullet points describing evidence of your exceptional ability to [email protected].

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
