Lead end-to-end architecture for Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and integrated enterprise solutions. Define data, security, integration, environment, ALM, and governance strategies; guide technical decisions; conduct architecture reviews; manage risks and dependencies; support planning and releases; coach development teams; and provide production stabilization and root-cause analysis.
We're looking for an experienced external Solution Architect to shape secure, scalable and supportable solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, Azure and connected enterprise systems while guiding delivery teams from concept to production.
Role and engagement model
- Act as the architecture lead for defined initiatives within the client's Power Platform landscape.
- Translate business capabilities and non-functional requirements into pragmatic end-to-end solution architectures.
- Provide architecture direction and governance while remaining hands-on enough to validate key technical
- decisions and delivery feasibility.
Key responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architectures covering Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Azure services and external integrations.
- Define solution boundaries, data models, integration patterns, security concepts and environment strategies.
- Guide decisions between configuration, low-code and custom development, including React, PCF and Azure components where appropriate.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, identity, data protection, ALM and operational support requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews, document decisions and manage technical risks, dependencies and exceptions.
- Support estimation, backlog refinement and delivery planning with product owners and engineering teams.
- Coach developers and review solution designs, code approaches and deployment concepts.
- Provide technical leadership during critical releases, production stabilization and root-cause analysis.

Requirements
Mandatory experience
- 8+ years of solution design or software engineering experience, including substantial enterprise Power Platform architecture experience.
- Proven design of production solutions across multiple applications, environments and integration endpoints.
- Strong knowledge of Dataverse, security roles, identity, data modelling, integration and API patterns.
- Practical experience with managed solutions, environment strategy, source control and Azure DevOps based ALM.
- Ability to define and assess non-functional requirements including security, performance, availability, supportability and compliance.
- Experience facilitating architecture decisions with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Professional English and strong written architecture documentation skills.
Preferred experience
- Microsoft Power Platform or Azure architecture certifications, particularly PL-600.
- React, PCF controls, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management or event-driven integration.
- Copilot Studio, AI Builder and governance of AI-enabled business solutions.
- Experience supporting distributed or nearshore development organizations.
