What you'll be doing:

As a Power Platform Engineer, you will partner with business users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify operational needs and translate them into secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. You will design and build applications, workflows, dashboards, and data models using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to streamline processes, improve reporting, and integrate with existing CMS systems and third-party services. You will manage the full solution lifecycle—from gathering requirements and creating functional designs to development, testing, deployment, and user adoption—ensuring all solutions meet Federal accessibility, security, and compliance standards. In collaboration with other engineers, you will also support more complex integrations and maintain a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience designing and delivering solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Skilled at gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional, user-friendly applications.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, integration methods, and platform governance.
  • Experience with canvas apps, model-driven apps, and enterprise workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with security roles, permissions, and compliance in Microsoft 365/Power Platform.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Medicaid/CHIP programs, CMS systems, or Federal health IT; experience with Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder, or Teams/SharePoint integration.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $130,000
