As a Power BI Developer on our solutions delivery team, you will have the unique opportunity to support the technical development for projects advancing the digital transformation of critical government systems with true mission impact.  Our delivery teams are driven to explore new ideas and technology, and care deeply about collaboration, feedback, and iteration. We follow agile practices, and use modern tech stacks, and constantly challenge each other to grow and improve.

Technical members of our solutions teams require little guidance, but love to learn, collaborate, and solve problems. This position requires experience and passion for coding, and a strong desire to solve our customers’ unique technology challenges.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, dataflows and semantic models.
  • Engineer and optimize data connections with Dataverse.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business and reporting requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop complex calculations and business logic using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Use Power Query/M to connect, transform, cleanse, and prepare data for reporting.
  • Implement Security and other appropriate data-access controls.
  • Implement BI governance, version control, report lifecycle management and workspace organization

Required Skills

  • Active Secret Clearance or higher is required 
  • Minimum of 4 years designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and integrations with complex datasets
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience scripting in data engineering languages such as SQL, Power Query M, DAX
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Ability to be self-driven and proactive with planning, development, and customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer management skills
  • Ability to train data analysts on how to create reports

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate
  • Experience with Dataverse, Azure Data, Databrick or other data sources
