A day in the life:

This position is responsible for supporting the work of the Social department with on-time delivery of accurate, effective brand and product materials. The Podcast Advertising Contractor is responsible for supporting podcast production for the client roster. This position is responsible for podcast strategy development, campaign execution and reporting. Executing on client deliverables such as podcast lists, media plans and ad copy briefs are a core aspect of this position. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Podcast Research: Identify and research potential podcasts and partners for campaigns, compiling an opportunity analysis and initiating outreach where applicable
  • Brand Tone & Voice: Craft engaging and on-brand Ad Copy briefs for podcast partnerships, adhering to industry best practices
  • Analytics Monitoring: Regularly monitor podcast performance using analytics tools (Spotify Ad Analytics, LiftLab, and Adobe) and make data-driven recommendations to enhance strategies
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest podcast trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and content decisions
  • Autonomous Workflow: Manage workload efficiently, working independently to ensure tasks and projects are completed on time and in line with client or brand objectives
Role Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in podcast advertising (agency experience preferred) 
  • A-Z Programming: Responsible for the ideation, management, and completion of podcast programming A-Z, ensuring activations are aligned with client goals and messaging.
  • Podcast Communications: Proficient in identifying, vettin,g and booking podcast sponsorships. This is inclusive of conducting outreach, communicating budgets and requirements, seeing the partnership through from execution to completion, and assisting with reporting on performance.
  • Deliverable Capabilities: Ability to draft campaign materials and assets such as Ad Copy briefs, agreements and various client communications.
  • Industry Awareness: Possesses a strong foundation of podcast relationships and a firm understanding of all possible ad types and podcast verticals.
  • Autonomous Execution: Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple deliverables at a given time without constant supervision.
