About EliseAI
At EliseAI, we're improving the industries that matter most: housing and healthcare. Everyone needs a place to live and access to quality healthcare, yet both are often harder to secure than they should be.
By integrating AI agents deeply into existing workflows, we make them more efficient, reduce costs, and improve the experience for everyone.
Healthcare: We make it easy to schedule appointments, complete intake forms, and we help patients communicate with providers, so everyone can focus on health instead of paperwork.
Housing: We simplify how renters tour apartments, sign leases, submit maintenance requests, and stay connected with their property team—bringing everything they need for their home into one place.
With EliseAI, organizations reduce manual work, improve accessibility, and deliver a seamless experience across essential services. We recently raised a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission.
About The Role
We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to lead high-impact, strategic, technical projects that will drive the operational scalability of the organization as we rapidly grow. This role will operate at the intersection of business strategy and technology and serve as a critical bridge across functional areas, including our Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams. You will take significant ownership in high-visibility customer-facing and business operations systems in optimizing our current tech stack, leading evaluation and procurement of new platforms, and designing and building custom solutions when market offerings don’t meet our needs.
The ideal candidate will complement the organization with a unique blend of business / operations experience, technical capability across systems architecture and development, understanding of SaaS processes, and a passion to build systems to drive proactive, scalable, and data-driven business and customer management.
Key Responsibilities
Drive cross-functional technical projects and own, optimize, and build upon our current tech stack across third-party software vendors as well as our proprietary business operations systems
Conduct deep discovery on stakeholder needs across functional areas, design and build custom technical solutions to enhance automation, analytics, and scalability across workflows, and own adoption and outcomes across the organization
Collaborate with customers on how we can best support them at the intersection of critical milestones in their journey and how our operations teams engage with them
Build business analytics solutions that provide actionable insights on customer health, retention, and expansion opportunities
Evaluate, select, and implement new, market-leading technologies based on technical and business requirements
Work with AWS, databases, APIs, webhooks, and automation tools to enhance system integrations and improve operational efficiency
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data, to maximize adoption and operational efficiency
Act as a subject matter expert for business operations systems architecture, best practices, and operational improvements
Attract top-tier talent to join our driven team
Move at rocket speed, build something massive.
We’re scaling fast, solving real client problems with precision and ambition. Here, you own your impact; full autonomy, no micromanagement, no fluff.
We hire the best, expect the best, and give you the masterclass of your career. It’s hard, it’s intense, and it’s the most rewarding work you’ll ever do. If you’re hungry, driven, and ready to build something massive, climb aboard.
Requirements
Proficiency in Python and SQL
2+ years of experience building and scaling business operations with a technical skew
Hands-on experience with systems development, data administration, APIs, webhooks, custom workflows, and integrations
Strong technical and problem-solving acumen with the ability to design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot scalable systems that improve efficiency
Experience working cross-functionally across stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into actionable insights
Willingness to work in person at our offices 4-5 days a week
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with platform architecture and analytics in a SaaS environment
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
Experience in client-facing roles
Understanding of SaaS metrics, strategies, and lifecycle management
Why Join
Growth and impact. It’s not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a funded (unicorn!) startup that’s scaling so fast. That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You’ll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn’t when you fail. Either way, the rest of the team will be here to support you.
Benefits
In addition to the growth and impact you’ll have at EliseAI, we offer competitive salaries along with the following benefits:
Equity in the company
Medical, Dental and Vision premiums covered at 100%
Fully paid parental leave
Commuter benefits
401k benefits
Monthly fitness stipend
A collaborative in-office environment with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, and company-paid lunch
Fun company social events through our Elise and the City program
Unlimited vacation and paid holidays
We'll cover relocation packages and make the move exciting, not painful!
