The Role: Platform EngineerWe’re looking to add another Platform Engineer to our team to help us tackle both ongoing maintenance and parallelize work across a growing roadmap of projects - from Data and Billing to Internal Tooling, Infrastructure, and Security & Compliance.
What you'll work onSome of the key technical challenges you’ll help us tackle include:
Building and maintaining scalable internal infrastructure on AWS
Improving internal tooling for engineers and cross-functional teams
Maintaining and optimizing secure systems for billing, compliance, and user data
Designing and extending internal data pipelines
Implementing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
Occasionally wearing a product or DevOps hat - whatever supports the wider team
Backend: Elixir/Phoenix
Frontend: Next.js (TypeScript)
Infra: AWS, Terraform, Postgres, Retool, Vercel
3–5+ years of experience as a backend or platform engineer
Strong backend engineering skills (any language - we love functional programming)
Strong relational database experience (ideally Postgres)
Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Enjoys improving internal processes and tools for both engineers and the wider business
Happy to wear many hats and take on varied projects
Elixir or other functional languages (e.g. Erlang, Clojure, Haskell, OCaml)

Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Vercel
