As a Senior Manager in our Cloud and Developer Platforms organization, you will be instrumental in building a world-class capability that sets us apart as a leader in cloud innovation. You will challenge conventional approaches, champion a cloud-first strategy, and deliver outstanding experiences to both internal teams and external partners.

Bringing deep expertise in cloud technologies and platforms, you will lead global, cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and creativity. As a visionary leader, you will drive the development of end-to-end solutions that enhance the resilience, security, and scalability of our cloud services.

This role demands a unique combination of strategic insight and executional discipline to ensure our platforms and practices align with industry best practices and stay ahead of market trends. You will be accountable for delivering cloud landing zones, infrastructure automation, observability, and operational excellence, all while maintaining alignment with governance, FinOps, and compliance standards. Collaborating closely with Developer Enablement & Tooling, you will focus on the platform layer—the infrastructure, services, and engineering backbone that drives enterprise cloud adoption.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver platform service roadmaps aligned to enterprise cloud strategy

  • Lead engineering teams responsible for automation, reliability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

  • Own environment lifecycle management (provisioning, patching, decommissioning) across multiple CSPs

  • Drive automation-first principles using Infrastructure-as-Code, policy-as-code, and compliance automation

  • Partner with Product Strategy & Governance to align platform capabilities to enterprise roadmaps and business priorities

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, availability, performance, and security standards for platform services

  • Collaborate with Developer Enablement & Tooling to integrate platform services into developer workflows

  • Mentor engineering teams, enforce technical excellence, and guide adoption of modern platform engineering practices

  • Provide cost, risk, and impact analysis for platform design and operational decisions; present to executive stakeholders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering and/or product management

  • 10+ years of experience defining operational processes, implementing DevOps, and deployment checklists

  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure

  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related role

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and automation tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in scripting languages

  • 10+ years of experience basic networking concepts

  • 5+ years of experience with system configuration tools and implementation of architectural frameworks (Service Oriented Architecture, Domain-Driven Design)

  • 5+ years of experience of container orchestration solutions

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $174,250 – $270,250
