Essential Functions…

u  Develop and maintain product production schedule.

u  Coordinate shipments of product to and from  3rd party re-packer

u  Coordinate the procurement of support material.

u  Responsible for maintaining purchasing and inventory control systems.

u  Manage cycle counting program – including explanation of variances.

u  Assist in periodic and scheduled audits to ensure accuracy of inventory data.

u  Manage contracts and quality assurances issues.

u  Provide procurement services for Production and Processing.

u  Analyze, correct, and enter daily data collection systems as needed for department.

u  Maintain accurate files.

u  Backup team members as needed.

u  Set up and maintain all raw material deliveries (schedules).

u  Maintain minimum stock dollars.

u  Various tasks involving the responsibility of the food safety and quality of company products.


Coverage: 

The Procurement Manager is trained in all aspects of the Planning Procurement Coordinator job description and able to perform coverage in this position as needed.


Education and Experience…


Physical Requirements…

®  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

®  Two years of college with emphasis on business and two years of procurement experience.

®  Experience may be substituted for education.

®  Basic understanding of General Accounting and Finance.

®  Excellent math skills.

®  Advanced Computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheets).

®  Ability to work well with people.

®  Communication skills are a must.

®  Multi-tasked Individual.


®  Standing: Occasionally

®  Sitting: Most of the day (a minimum of 5 hours)

®  Walking: Constantly

®  Bending: Occasionally

®  Twisting of Spine: Occasionally

®  Listing: Moderate (30 – 50 lbs) infrequently

®  Ability to work with arms outstretched to the front

®  Ability to move hands and wrists repetitively



Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

The pay range for this position is
$30$34 USD
