Position Overview:
Dandy is hiring a Capacity Analyst to support our S&OP process. This role will sit on our central Supply Planning team, ensuring that every corner of our business is prepared to execute against our ambitious goals day in and day out.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, exceptional modelling skills, and a comfortability with supply chain principles. This role is key to driving alignment across our supply chain and operations teams in service of Dandy’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)

    • Own the supply planning for materials, consumables, and spare parts for our highly automated custom manufacturing business

    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to land new operations initiatives while balancing the needs of our customers

    • Help manage a comprehensive S&OP process, including regular meetings to review commercial demand and supply

  • Data Analysis and Reporting

    • Evaluate committed operating plans against current state realities, synthesizing complex operations into digestible insights

    • Create and prepare reports and presentations for management

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and tools

    • Adapt planning methodology to meet our ever evolving business needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, startups, or supply chain planning.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; highly proficient in Excel, familiar with SQL, Hex, and BI Visualization Tool (e.g. Looker).

  • Understanding of supply chain principles, manufacturing, and capex planning.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple inputs and priorities in a dynamic setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or supply chain management software.

  • Experience with process mapping and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
