The Placement Specialist assists the Placement Executive with marketing accounts, maintaining relationships with insurance company partners, and following market insights/trends. This role provides training, coaching, and mentoring to the Placement Coordinator.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for marketing all assigned accounts.
Assisting in auditing and compliance of marketing information.
Assists in the mentoring, coaching, and training for the Marketing Analyst Team.
Peer reviews marketing work product of others.
Coordinates service delivery on assigned accounts including developing initial placement and renewal strategy.
Cultivates strong relationships with insurance company partners, responsible for knowing carrier requirements and attributes, and in-depth knowledge of at least one carrier.
Generates periodic reports for distribution.
Looks for opportunities to improve the firm, Business Segment and processes. Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
Serves as a mentor to colleagues as requested.
Completes special projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Capable of cultivating strong relationships with insurance company partners, including key insurance markets and insurance company partner representatives
Detail oriented and able to analyze various benefit plans to provide the appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects.
Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with all firm business segments.
Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 4+ years work related experience. Prefer some experience in an agency environment.
Active insurance license required
Certification(s): None required; None preferred
License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred
