As a Pipeline Engineer, you'll develop and maintain production tools with Shotgun, collaborate with VFX teams, automate processes, and ensure efficient workflows.
As a Pipeline Engineer at Magnopus, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining tools that streamline our production workflows using Shotgun. You will work closely with artists, producers, and other engineers to enhance productivity and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.

Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain tools and workflows within Shotgun to support the VFX production pipeline, enhancing efficiency and usability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with VFX artists and supervisors to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring tools align with production needs.
- Automation: Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python and the Shotgun API to reduce manual processes and improve productivity across teams.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support for Shotgun Software, troubleshooting issues and ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.
- Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for tools, workflows, and best practices to facilitate user training and onboarding.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in Shotgun and VFX technologies, actively seeking opportunities to enhance our pipeline and tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in VFX pipeline development, with a strong focus on production tools and workflows.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with the Shotgun API.
- Strong understanding of VFX production processes and workflows in the film or gaming industries.
