As a Physical Energy Operations Analyst within the Trading Services team at JPMorganChase, you will be immersed in the fast-paced world of physical energy products executed by the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Markets trading business. Your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate transaction capture, reconciliation, and control performance. Located on the trading floor, you will gain firsthand exposure to the Natural Gas, Power, and Oil markets, contributing to the wider CIB Markets Operations organization.

Job Responsibilities
- Understanding of physical energy logistics.
- Handle the settlement of all physical energy products, including invoice reconciliation.
- Perform and oversee daily controls and processes related to trades booked in the Risk Management System.
- Partner with Credit, Tech, and Product Control to ensure accurate trade booking and timely issue resolution.
- Initiate process improvements and automation in collaboration with Tech and other teams.
- Become an SME in physical energy products, preparing presentations for senior management as needed.
- Collaborate closely with traders, sales, and the front office team to confirm positions and resolve discrepancies.
- Participate in regular internal meetings to review metrics and priorities.
- Serve as the central point of contact for queries related to the physical energy space.
- Support the implementation of new physical energy products and partner on new initiatives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and high-volume processes.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Good organizational skills and excellent teamwork abilities.
- Proactive approach to improving control and operational environments.
- Strong PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong risk and controls awareness with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in physical energy operations or related fields.
- Familiarity with trading floor environments.
- Knowledge of energy market dynamics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
