- Proven experience managing websites end-to-end, including infrastructure and security.

Role Overview
An experienced PHP & WordPress professional to manage, maintain, secure, and enhance our web platforms. This individual will be responsible for the complete website ecosystem, including WordPress development, PHP application support, server administration, hosting infrastructure, website security, performance optimization, DNS management, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Website Maintenance & Support
∙Own and manage the website lifecycle from development through production.
∙Monitor website health, uptime, performance, and availability.
∙Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
∙Perform regular website audits, maintenance, upgrades, and testing across WordPress and PHP sites .
∙Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and restoration testing.
WordPress / WP Engine Management:
∙Administer WordPress environments across development, staging, and production.
∙Install, configure, update, and maintain plugins, themes, and WordPress core.
∙Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
∙Optimize website speed, caching, and overall performance.
∙Ensure WordPress security best practices are followed.
PHP Development:
∙Design, develop, modify, and maintain custom PHP applications and integrations.
∙Troubleshoot and resolve PHP code issues.
∙Review, optimize, and refactor legacy code when required.
∙Implement new functionality and business requirements.
Database (SQL):
∙Manage and maintain MySQL databases.
∙Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
∙Ensure database integrity, security, and backup processes.
∙Support data migration and troubleshooting activities
Infrastructure, Hosting & Server Management
∙Manage website hosting environments, including WP Engine and Linux-based servers.
∙Configure and maintain web servers, domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, and email-related DNS records.
∙Work with hosting providers and infrastructure teams to resolve server-related issues.
∙Monitor server resources, logs, and performance metrics.
Security & Compliance
∙Implement website and server security best practices.
∙Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Cloudflare, and security configurations.
∙Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation.
∙Perform malware scanning and security monitoring.
∙Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
Integrations & Automation
∙Support third-party integrations and APIs.
∙Manage website integrations with CRM systems, marketing platforms, and external applications.
∙Automate recurring maintenance and monitoring tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with WordPress, custom PHP development, MySQL databases, web hosting environments, security best practices, and website operations.
