Chewy is looking for full-time Pharmacists to join our "online neighborhood pharmacy" in Dallas, TX! Our facility is dedicated to supporting the needs of online pet parents, ensuring they receive the medications their veterinarians prescribe for their pets. As a Pharmacist at Chewy, you'll play a vital role in a team committed to delivering outstanding care and wellness services to pet parents and their pets. What you'll do:

  • Interpret and verify medication orders with precision and accuracy.
  • Review prescriber medication orders for appropriate dosing, scheduling, contraindication, allergy, drug interaction, and/or incompatibility problems.
  • Communicate effectively with Veterinarians, their staff, Pet Parents as the needed.
  • Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and interns. Provide ongoing training and coaching as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records to follow federal and state legal requirements and pharmacy policies
  • Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety and compliance
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as advised by management.
  • Position may require travel


What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas with license in good standing and other states and credentials as needed.
  • Strong customer services and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
