About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

Working as part of our Creative Performance team, you'll partner closely with Performance Marketing to develop high-performing video creative across paid social and other digital channels. You'll edit compelling stories, incorporate motion graphics and animation, and rapidly iterate on creative based on performance insights.

This role isn't just about editing videos.

What You'll Do
  • Edit short- and long-form video creative for paid acquisition campaigns across Meta and other digital platforms

  • Incorporate motion graphics, typography, animation, and visual effects that strengthen storytelling and improve performance

  • Develop multiple creative variations to test different hooks, messaging, pacing, and creative approaches

  • Partner closely with Performance Marketing, designers, copywriters, and motion designers throughout the creative process

  • Translate performance insights into stronger edits and future creative explorations

  • Balance speed with craftsmanship, producing high-quality work in a fast-moving environment

  • Stay on top of editing techniques, platform trends, and creative best practices while helping evolve the Solace brand

  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, creative critique, and continuous improvement

What You Bring to the Table
  • Exceptional video editing skills with experience creating consumer-facing digital content

  • Experience incorporating motion graphics, typography, and animation into video edits

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, pacing, and creative execution across short-form digital content

  • Experience creating paid social or performance marketing creative

  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Curiosity about creative testing, audience psychology, and what drives engagement

  • Comfort working quickly, iterating often, and using performance insights to improve your work

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • A bias toward action and a genuine excitement for creating video that performs

Who We Are

We are a team of ambitious individuals who are passionate about putting healthcare back into the hands of patients. At Solace, you'll have the opportunity to help build a new performance creative discipline while doing meaningful work that reaches thousands of people every day.

You'll work alongside designers, writers, motion designers, and marketers who believe the best creative is equal parts thoughtful, measurable, and beautifully crafted.

Applicants must be based in the United States.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
