About This Role:

We’re seeking a Performance Creative Designer / Video Editor to concept, design, and edit high-converting creative assets across paid media channels. You'll report into our Senior Product Designer and work closely with growth marketers, copywriters, and creative strategists to iterate quickly and produce compelling, conversion-focused ads that drive business results. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive attitude, an ad-strategy mindset, and a talent for high-volume, quick-turn production.

Location: This is a full-time position with the option to be remote or hybrid (based out of our Santa Monica office).

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Performance Creative Designer / Video Editor, your primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Design and edit static, motion, and video-based ads for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling efforts.
  • Develop creative templates and frameworks that enable faster production and testing for ads across paid media channels (Meta, Instagram, Google, Pinterest, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with our Marketing and Creative teams to interpret and develop briefs, brainstorm ideas, refine concepts based on feedback, and execute performance-driven ad campaigns.
  • Use performance data and insights to continuously iterate and optimize creative for higher conversion and engagement.
  • Ensure quality control for all exports.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a design, e-commerce, fashion, or ad environment.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience in video editing and working with UGC content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work. 
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, and design trends.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively on projects, from concept to launch.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions confidently and clearly in a deck format.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly.
  • Strong understanding of Direct Response optimized designs.
  • Comfortable turning around creative on short timelines and producing high-quality work with speed.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

The base salary is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
