The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Workday People Technology Specialist to join our team. This role will be instrumental in the continued expansion and deployment of Workday functionality. You will partner with the Senior People Technology Specialist and key stakeholders (e.g., People, Finance, Security) to implement streamlined People processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage and configure Workday enhancements or fixes for HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence modules
  • Partner with the People Operations team to define, document, and refine business requirements related to programs to be executed through Workday and other systems 
  • Work with process owners, create and enhance business processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability
  • Be a conduit between the People team and employees to answer questions or escalate issues as needed and prioritize technology fixes and enhancements
  • Assist with broadening internal cross-functional knowledge of Workday features and functionality through training and user guides
  • Build reports to support HCM, Compensation, and other areas of the Workday modules 
  • Drive adoption and usage of Workday technology changes and new functionality launches across the People Team
  • Lead and contribute to high-impact People projects and initiatives, ensuring Workday and other People technologies effectively support organizational goals

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience configuring business processes and functionality in Workday modules, including HCM Core, Absence, and Time Tracking. Experience in additional modules is a plus.
  • Experience in Workday report writing and calculated fields
  • Ability to analyze details in Workday to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
  • Strong understanding of People best practices, processes, and compliance
  • Experience analyzing requirements and making adjustments to create the most optimal solution
  • Experience in designing, building, and testing processes in various People systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lattice) 
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and user needs and then translate them into operational requirements
  • Strong technology aptitude and interest in research, data, metrics, and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
  • Workday Pro certifications are a plus

Annual Pay Range

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).

$90,000$140,000 USD
