The role

We’re looking for an accomplished and well-rounded People Team Partner to drive impactful, people-first HR programs across the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted resource on HR practices and compliance, while also owning focus areas: either Onboarding & Recruitment or DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), & Learning & Development (L&D). You’ll collaborate across all People Team workstreams to help deliver a consistent, seamless, and equitable employee experience.

Your day-to-day
  1. Serve as a primary point of contact for HR systems and support, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance in People Team platforms, managing employee system access, answering day-to-day policy questions, supporting vendor relationships, and troubleshooting system-related issues for employees and managers.
  2. Support execution of key People Team functions such as performance reviews, onboarding, and People Programs initiatives.
  3. Apply foundational knowledge of employment law and HR policies to help ensure compliance across key touchpoints in the employee lifecycle.
  4. Collaborate across all People Team workstreams to deliver a consistent, seamless, and equitable employee experience.
  5. Generate and maintain standard HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and monitor key people metrics.
  6. Serve as a versatile HR partner by supporting the full spectrum of People Team functions including, but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and engagement while flexibly adapting focus and responsibilities to align with evolving business priorities and organizational needs.
  7. Focus in one of these areas:
    1. Onboarding and Recruitment 
      1. Lead end-to-end recruitment for high-volume and early-career roles, including job posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer coordination.
      2. Provide recruitment coordination support to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner by scheduling interviews, maintaining candidate records, and supporting a positive candidate experience.
      3. Partners with leadership and key stakeholders to recommend, develop, and execute employee experience, including onboarding and orientation of new and internally transferring employees. 
    2. DEIB, CSR, and L&D: 
      1. Own the design, delivery, and evaluation of DEIB and CSR programming, including Crews (our version of ERGs), events, campaigns, communications, and initiatives that advance a culture of belonging.
      2. Partner with leaders and employees to embed DEIB principles into everyday practices, processes, and policies.
      3. Drive coordination and logistics for learning and development offerings, including facilitating training sessions, manager workshops, and professional development opportunities. 
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and;
  • Six (6) years of HR Generalist work experience, including broad People Team support across the employee lifecycle including but not limited to, expertise in one of the following areas- onboarding, recruitment, DEIB, CSR, and/or L&D
  • Expertise in one of these focus areas:  
    • Onboarding and Recruitment: 
      • Previous experience supporting onboarding and employee events or programs 
      • Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment
      • Experience using Applicant Tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.)
    • DEIB, CSR and L&D: 
      • DEIB or CSR Certification
      • Direct experience leading DEIB programming, initiatives, or employee resource groups
      • Previous experience supporting training and L&D programs
      • Experience with learning management systems or engagement platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Seismic/Lessonly, Lattice, etc.)
  • Progressive experience applying foundational knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
Bonus points
  • Experience in a tech or startup environment
  • Experience working with Lattice
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Familiarity with HR analytics tools

Salary: $144,000 to $175,000*

*Please note that the final salary offered will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, and experience, as well as the internal salary structure at Quanata. Our aim is to offer a competitive and equitable compensation package that reflects the candidate's expertise and contributions to our organization.

  • Work from Home Equipment: Given our virtual environment— in order to set you up for success at home, a one-time payment of $2K will be provided to cover the purchase of in-home office equipment and furniture at your discretion. Also, our teams work with MacBook Pros, which we will deliver to you fully provisioned prior to your first day.
  • Paid Time Off: All employees accrue four weeks of PTO in their first year of employment.  New parents receive twelve weeks of fully paid parental leave which may be taken within one year after the birth and/or adoption of a child. The twelve weeks is applicable to both birthing and non-birthing parent.
  • Personal and Professional Development: We’re committed to investing in and helping our people grow personally and professionally.  All employees receive up to $5000 each year for professional learning, continuing education and career development.  All team members also receive LinkedIn Learning subscriptions and access to multiple different coaching opportunities through BetterUp.
  • Location: We are a remote-first company for most positions so you may work from anywhere you like in the U.S, excluding U.S. territories. For most positions, occasional travel may be requested or encouraged but is not required. Some positions might require travel per the job description provided to the employee. Employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area or in Providence, Rhode Island may commute to one of our local offices as desired.  
  • Hours: We maintain core meeting hours from 9AM - 2PM Pacific time for collaborating with team members across all time zones.
