At CloudKitchens, we’re revolutionizing the food delivery industry with a global network of ghost kitchens. Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive, and operational excellence is at the core of our operations.

As a People Program Manager, you will focus heavily on HR and people programs, working closely with the People Team and bringing experience in talent and program management. Who We Are: CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery - our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone. We take underutilized properties and transform them into smart kitchens so they can better serve restaurateurs, customers and the neighborhoods in which they’re located.

We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant or your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.

What you’ll do

  • HR Program Management: Design, redesign, and execute People and HR programs, including step/level frameworks, eligibility structures, and internal initiatives.

  • BAU Cycle Ownership: Run recurring HR cycles such as compensation reviews, promotions, and goal-setting processes end-to-end.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with HRBPs and Operations teams to align People initiatives with business needs.

  • Program Execution: Lead the day-to-day execution of People programs, ensuring timelines, communication, and delivery quality.

  • Strategic Program Design: Contribute to the continuous improvement and strategic evolution of internal People processes.

  • HR Project Coordination: Act as a project manager within HR initiatives, maintaining structure, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong HR Foundation (Must-Have): Proven experience in HR, People Operations, or People Programs.

  • Program Management Mindset: Experience managing structured initiatives or cyclical programs at scale.

  • Strategic & Execution Balance: Ability to think strategically while remaining highly hands-on in execution.

  • Tools: Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS is a plus

  • Collaboration Skills: Comfortable partnering with HRBPs and operational stakeholders.

  • Organizational Strength: High attention to detail, structure, and process ownership.

  • Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
