About the Opportunity – People Operations Generalist II:
The People Operations Generalist II provides broad employee lifecycle, People technology, data, and Total Rewards support within a lean, highly cross-functional shared-services model. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers while maintaining operational ownership for designated People programs and systems.
The Generalist II is expected to build working capability across all core People Operations services while developing deeper expertise in selected areas. Successful team members will be adaptable, collaborative, comfortable managing a broad portfolio, and committed to creating scalable processes and effective self-service experiences.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide Tier 1 People Operations support to employees and managers through the People helpdesk.
- Administer preboarding, onboarding, employee documentation, employment changes, and offboarding.
- Provide employee and manager support related to standard People policies, Benefits, Leaves, Compensation, systems, and processes.
- Support Benefits enrollment, eligibility changes, employee inquiries, documentation, and recurring administrative activities.
- Support Leave of Absence and ADA administration in partnership with designated Sr. Generalists.
- Support Compensation processes, employee changes, reporting, documentation, and recurring program cycles.
- Maintain accurate employee information across the HR technology ecosystem.
- Complete HRIS transactions, recurring audits, data validation, and issue resolution.
- Manage helpdesk requests from intake through resolution and escalate complex matters appropriately.
- Support self-service adoption by helping employees and managers navigate workflows, systems, policies, and knowledge resources.
- Maintain People Operations documentation, standard operating procedures, templates, and employee resources.
- Support Talent Acquisition Operations, employee engagement programs, surveys, and HR communications.
- Participate in cross-training and maintain working knowledge across all core People Operations and Total Rewards service areas.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual work, and strengthen the employee experience.
What You Bring:
- 2–5 years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, Benefits & LOAs, or a related field.
- ADP Workforce Now experience required
- MUST HAVE working knowledge of Benefits, Leaves, Compensation, employee policies, HR systems, and compliance practices.
- Broad employee lifecycle experience and an interest in supporting multiple People Operations and Total Rewards disciplines.
- Experience using an HRIS and supporting employee data, reporting, transactions, or system administration.
- Experience managing employee and manager requests through a helpdesk, case-management, or shared-services model preferred.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a broad portfolio and competing deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new functional areas quickly and operate effectively in a cross-trained team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an employee-centered service approach.
- Demonstrated discretion when handling sensitive employee, Benefits, Leave, and Compensation information.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to confidentiality and service excellence.
