The People Operations & Talent Specialist will manage hiring processes, enhance employee experiences, and oversee the development of talent initiatives.

The People Operations Specialist will partner with the larger Talent team to drive hiring results, build and guide development initiatives and champion our agency culture. They will be the first point of contact for candidates and a key resource to our team members throughout their LaunchSquad journey. The ideal candidate is an expert problem solver who knows how to take initiative and produce impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process for entry-level to mid-management roles across PR and Content teams.
- Manage the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and consistently source diverse talent through LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms.
- Ensure every candidate has a seamless, transparent and high-touch experience, regardless of the hiring outcome.
- Regularly assess current learning and development framework and partner with senior leads to build and maintain ongoing initiatives that align curriculum with team objectives and technology advancements.
- Own the logistics of welcoming new "Squad" members and ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Assist with maintaining our HRIS (Human Resources Information System), manage employee records and assist with benefits administration.
- Assist in planning agency-wide events and employee recognition programs.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in recruiting or people operations, preferably within a fast-paced agency or tech environment.
- Experience building strong relationships and have a knack for identifying great talent with potential for growth.
- Take pride in the small things while understanding the larger goal.
- Natural problem-solver who sees a gap in a process as an opportunity to build something better.
- Work well in a team environment but also thrive as an independent contributor delivering consistent, reliable results.
- Lead with a service oriented mindset and care deeply about the employee experience.
