The opportunity 

As a People Operations Senior Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality employee experience through accurate data management, clear communication, and timely HR support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in detail-oriented work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow their HR operations career in a dynamic team environment.

What you’ll do 

  • HR Inquiries: Contribute to a positive employee experience by serving as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Including managing the ticketing system to track and address requests.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems, generate reports, and resolve system issues within the HRIS.
  • Leave Management: Administer leave of absence requests and maintaining accurate records.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, communication, administration, and reporting.
  • Support Process Improvements and Key Initiatives: Assisting with various People Operations projects, from inception to completion.
  • Operational Support: Provide general administrative support to the People Operations team.

The experience you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field such as HR, administration, or office coordination.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records. 
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to HR processes and employee needs. 
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in all tasks and maintaining compliance with policies. 
  • Customer service orientation: Providing a positive and helpful experience for employees.

It’s exciting if you also have

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth company
  • Expertise in People Operations, Benefits, Project Management, and/or HRIS
  • Experience with HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors, ADP), project management (Jira), and Google Workspace tools

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. In addition to salary, Magic Leap offers a discretionary bonus and a fully comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
