What You'll Accomplish
- Lead and execute our annual performance review process, compensation planning, and promotion cycles
- Manage employee relations and support managers with coaching and development
- Design and roll out employee surveys and follow-up action planning to strengthen engagement
- Build training and development programs, including manager enablement and career growth frameworks
- Maintain and evolve people policies, documentation, and compliance practices in partnership with legal
- Partner on compensation strategy, equity allocation, and benchmarking tools like Pave
- Improve internal processes and systems for onboarding, off-boarding, and employee lifecycle operations
- Support HRIS administration and reporting
What We Are Looking For:
- A desire to create a world-class environment for all of Eve's team members
- Experience in People Operations or HR generalist roles at a fast-paced, high-growth startup
- Strong background in performance management, compensation planning, and employee lifecycle systems
- High integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive situations
- Familiarity with California and multi-state employment laws
- Passion for building scalable people systems and documentation
- Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
