The Role:
As a People Operations Generalist Contractor, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture. You’ll own a range of administrative and operational responsibilities that ensure smooth employee experiences and scalable People processes as we grow.

What you'll do
- Support the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—ensuring smooth processes and compliance with internal policies and employment regulations
- Coordinate and administer benefits programs, leaves of absence, and employee perks
- Maintain and update accurate employee data and records in Rippling and other internal tools
- Assist with compliance needs including audits, documentation, and reporting
- Support the development and rollout of people processes and policies, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance
- Jump in on ad-hoc projects and help process improvements
What you'll bring
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations, with a strong foundation in systems, documentation, and employee support
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred) and Google Workspace tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a people-first mindset and a high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities with follow-through
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and cross-functionally (especially with recruiting, payroll, and IT)
- Comfort in a fast-moving, ever-evolving startup environment and openness to change
