Role Summary

As the People Operations + Systems Specialist, you will support the consistent, accurate, and employee-centered delivery of core People Team processes across the global employee life cycle. Embracing One Team, One Mission, you will partner seamlessly across the People Team to execute administrative workflows, manage employee transactions, and deliver a best-in-class employee experience. 

In this role, you will champion data integrity and systems' accuracy, support benefits and leave processes, and maintain compliance. Driven to Learn, Improve, Evolve, you will leverage high standards and data to continuously optimize processes, driving scalable, seamless operations in a fast-paced environment. 

People Business Partner Support 

  • Maintain strong knowledge of multistate employment law and legislation in the states we operate in.   
  • Monitor and respond to employee inquiries received through shared People Team inboxes, ensuring timely responses, accurate documentation notes, appropriate routing and consistent employee experience 
  • Support routine policy and process interpretation, escalating complex or high-risk matters to People Partners, Legal, Benefits or other subject matter experts as appropriate. 
  • Maintain and improve process documentation, department forms, job aids, and internal knowledge base content to support scalable People Ops delivery. 
  • Own assigned portions of the offboarding workflow in partnership with the People Business Partners, ensuring timely, compliant and accurate execution of both voluntary and involuntary separations. 
  • Own timely administrative processing of Employee Change Forms and Verifications of Employment  
  • Maintain accurate employee records throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring audit-ready documentation practices. 
  • Provide support to People Business Partners In coordinating routine Leaves of Absence and Accommodation process steps, ensuring documentation, routing and follow-up are handled consistently and confidentially. 
  • Support People Ops projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed. 

People Operations & Systems 

  • Ensure work and tasks completed within HRIS system are maintained with accuracy and integrity.  
  • Troubleshoot HRIS-related issues and partner with internal team and external vendors to resolve discrepancies 
  • Fulfill simple reporting requests and support recurring People Ops reporting needs with attention to data accuracy and confidentiality 
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve workflows, and increase consistency through better use of systems, documentation, automation, and AI. 
  •  Analyze employee inquiry trends and recommend improvements to documentation, training materials, workflows, and self-service content. 

Benefits Administration 

  • Process employee benefits transactions in HRIS including new hire enrollments and life events, and collect required documentation from employees as applicable 
  • Support annual open enrollment activities, employee communications, and issue resolution in partnership with People Team and benefit Brokers 
  • Support for employee benefit inquiries and provide general guidance on available plans, programs, and processes. 
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors to resolve employee issues and ensure timely follow-up. 
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Service Oriented
  • 3+ years of directly related experience
  • Project management skills
Employment Type

This is a full-time non-exempt remote position based in one of our regions that requires flexibility to different time zones

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $30-35/hr. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
