About the Role:
Dr. Squatch is seeking a People Insights & Development Analyst to join the People & Culture department. The People Insights & Development Analyst will play an integral part of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting our people data. This individual will draw insights from the data to support and recommend strategies for overall employee and organizational development.
In addition to being an important member of and data partner for the P&C department, this role will engage with and support stakeholders to identify areas for improvement related to company initiatives. Our employees are our most important ingredient at Dr. Squatch, and this individual will help our teams grow most effectively.
This role will report to the Senior Manager, Engagement & Learning.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, CA. Occasional visits to our manufacturing facility in Brea, CA, will be necessary.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $90,000 to $100,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do:
- Gather and analyze data from various systems, surveys, and sources.
- Identify trends and patterns in data related to HR functions and initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, clearly communicating insights
- Supporting the development and execution of performance management systems.
- Assisting with the performance review cycle set up and communication
- Collaborate with P&C leadership to develop, implement, and track adoption/engagement of HR programs and policies, including evaluating the effectiveness of current and new programs.
- Support change management initiatives through developing and executing communication plans.
- Project management and a galvanizer for HR Information Systems assignments.
- Assist in executing L&D programs, including mentorship programs, leadership development, and other related people training
- Facilitate communication and engagement around L&D opportunities.
- Develop and execute communication plans for HR and L&D initiatives. Proactively engage with employees and managers regarding reviews, surveys, and development opportunities.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including survey administration.
- Conduct audits of the Company’s people data.
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations upwards.
- Build strong relationships across the organization.
- Ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of company’s people data.
- Stay up-to-date on Industrial and Organizational Development trends.
- Other tasks assigned by direct supervisor and/or leadership as required.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR analytics, Organizational Development, Learning & Development analytics, or a related role.
- Strong project management skills and independent work ethic.
- Operates with a consultant mindset to serve internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to make data digestible through coding and data visualization.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Looker strongly preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis tools.
- Proficient in one or more human resource information systems with a preference for experience in ADP and/or UKG.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
