ButterflyMX is looking for an exceptional People Experience Specialist to support ButterflyMX’s People Experience function. This role will report to, and partner with, the Sr. Director Of People Experience, to execute on ButterflyMX’s People Strategy. 

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Offboarding 
    • Lead new hire orientation and coordinate cross-functional logistics (IT, payroll, background checks).
    • Send new hire check in surveys and summarize results. 
    • Manage exit interviews, the offboarding process, including coordination with payroll and IT. 
    • Prepare, send, and upload documentation to employee files. 
  • Process Automation
    • Implement automation solutions to streamline and improve efficiency across existing People Experience administrative workflows.
  • Employee Inquiries
    • Act as point of contact for escalated, day-to-day employee questions (benefits, policies).
  • HRIS Maintenance
    • Maintain and process accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRIS (new hires, terminations, transfers).
  • Unemployment Claims & Employment Verifications
    • Process unemployment notices and liaise with agencies.
    • Respond to employment verification requests in a timely fashion.
  • Employee Announcements & Culture Awards
    • Coordinate celebratory communications via Slack and email
    • Coordinate quarterly culture award logistics 
  • Administrative, Compliance & Audit Support
    • Prepare and submit documents for internal/external audits.
    • Manage routine HR documents, forms, and filing.
    • Support routine audits and help ensure compliance with state/federal labor laws.
    • Maintain documentation and track training/compliance deadlines.
  • Company Calendar Management
    • Schedule all internal training, events, and company-wide meetings.
    • Support event logistics: invitations, rooms, video‑conferencing, and wrap-up.

Requirements:

  • You have 2-3 years of proven experience with handling employee inquiries, onboarding and offboarding with accuracy and with excellent customer service.
  • You are proficient with HRIS platforms (ex. Workday).
  • You are an excellent communicator, you operate with accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • You are able to effectively follow processes and make recommendations for improvements. 
  • You are optimistic, bright, business-minded, resilient, passionate, flexible, and exceptionally good at building authentic relationships with all types of professionals.
  • You believe that effective, flexible people practices and strategies are essential for an organization to be able to deliver customer value.
  • You are able to maintain a positive attitude and humor under pressure.
  • You are self-aware and open to new ideas and ways of solving problems.
