At City Storage Systems, we're building Infrastructure for Better Food. We help restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery. Our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality, and convenient for everyone. We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.


What you’ll do


We are seeking a People Analytics Leader to shape the next chapter of People Analytics at CSS. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of world-class analysts while building a portfolio of data products and insights that empower leaders across the company.

The People Analytics team's mission is to deliver actionable clarity about our people to enable decisions that create and sustain a Just Workplace. To succeed, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership—rolling up your sleeves in one moment, and the next, presenting confidently to senior leadership. It’s a chance to influence how we think about talent, rewards, and business performance on a global scale.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Inspire, manage, and coach a team of world-class People Analysts.
  • Build their skills in influence, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement—beyond technical delivery.
  • Provide clear feedback, mentoring, and career growth pathways.

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define, align, and communicate a team-level analytics roadmap aligned to People and business priorities
  • Balance quick wins with scalable, long-term solutions that set the foundation for future growth.

Analytics & Data Products

  • Scope, design, and deliver data products and strategic diagnostics to drive decision-making on a global scale.
  • Maintain high standards of precision, reproducibility, and governance.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with HRBPs, Finance, Engineering, and People leaders to deliver insights that matter.
  • Translate data into clear, business-relevant recommendations.
  • Anticipate needs and deliver products that make magic – save time, money and create calm – for our key stakeholders.

Storytelling & Communication

  • Craft compelling narratives with data and present confidently to senior leadership.
  • Defend assumptions with rigor and composure, even under challenge.

Operational Excellence

  • Introduce lightweight processes that drive clarity, focus, and delivery.
  • Champion continuous improvement in workflows, documentation, and automation.
  • Encourage creativity and prototyping of new solutions.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in a quantitative field preferred.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in People Analytics, HR analytics software, or related fields (e.g., marketing analytics, labor economics).
  • Proven success leading analytics teams and coaching early-career talent.
  • Strong technical foundation: SQL, Python/R, and data visualization (Tableau/Looker).
  • Skilled in translating data into actionable insights and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of building scalable analytics products in complex, multi-line organizations.
  • Strong project management skills with speed and quality delivery.
  • Commitment to the ethical handling of sensitive People data.
