Key Responsibilities

The Product Development Process (PDP) Team is seeking a Program Manager to lead the modernization of PDP. The program spans process optimization, software application selection and deployment, and enterprise change. The role requires strong analytical systems thinking, influence across a broad stakeholder community; and ability to drive timely decisions. You will be responsible for the development, tracking, and execution of the program strategy, timeline, deliverables.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrated expertise in development and implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) best practices and tools to deliver end-to-end value stream across finance, support orgs, manufacturing, sales, and service.
  • Practiced in the use of Product Development Processes (PDP) and life cycles to drive product success through high caliber governance, software applications and tools, quality control, integration of best practices, and tracking to deliver to the company’s bottom line.
  • Highly skilled in Program Management including translation of requirements, stakeholder management, developing plans and metrics, risk management, governance, and driving forward motion with efficiency.
  • Experienced in Organization Change Management to meet timeline goals through communication planning, coaching and partnering, driving sustained adoption, and resistance management.
  • Knowledgeable in enterprise software application selection and implementation, including integration, regulation, and maintenance.

Business Expertise

  • Experienced in the translation of strategy into executable roadmaps; prioritization for impact; setting and delivering success metrics with a system approach and proven track record of sound decision making.

Leadership

  • Communicate with impact to build stakeholder and executive alignment with crisp narratives, frame decisions/escalations with evidence, managing without authority, and with awareness and ownership of outcomes.
  • Translates higher level corporate and team objectives into work that they can drive and deliver.

Problem Solving

  • Ability to turn ambiguity into clear problem statements, requirements, and decision criteria by leveraging a detail-oriented approach and creativity to develop processes and support infrastructure for enterprise-wide implementation.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Embraces adaptability and can thrive in a dynamic and complex environment with multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years hands-on program/project management in technical and business environments.
  • Expertise in BPM, product development, and change management.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, and influence without authority.
  • Track record leading high-impact, fast-paced programs with significant cross-functional engagement.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years in Applied’s PDP, serving in multiple roles within the framework.
  • Experience with BPM, process modeling tools, digital transformation, or program management development.
  • Organizational Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci).
  • Global program leadership experience.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
