The Payroll Senior Analyst executes advanced payroll operations and manages complex payroll processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll outcomes. This position leverages extensive knowledge of payroll practices, tax regulations, gross-to-net calculations, policies, and payroll systems to independently research, analyze, and resolve complex payroll discrepancies and transactions.
Responsibilities include managing resolution of escalated and sensitive payroll cases across multiple business units, employee populations, and pay practices; auditing payroll data to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations; performing detailed calculations of earnings, deductions, and taxes; and administering specialized payroll activities such as overpayment recovery, manual adjustments, off-cycle processing, and retroactive pay calculations.
This position partners closely with HR, Benefits, Compensation, Tax, Finance, managers, and employees to resolve time-sensitive payroll issues, support operational needs, and deliver a high level of customer service.
The Payroll Senior Analyst develops and maintains standard operating procedures and training documentation and supports process improvements, operational efficiencies, risk mitigation, compliance reviews, payroll audits, reporting, and system enhancements and implementations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Four (4) years of relevant experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced payroll expertise, attention to detail, sound judgment, along with the ability to independently manage complex payroll scenarios in a high-volume, highly regulated environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Four to Eight (4-8) years of relevant experience. Advanced knowledge of gross-to-net paycheck calculations. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Additional Information:The Target Hiring Range for this position is $64,900 to $84,850 per year.
