Payroll Analyst

The Payroll Analyst plays an integral role by helping to ensure everyone gets paid accurately and on time. You will have a direct impact on the employee experience, system implementations, and have the opportunity to contribute to special projects. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in compliance, audits and assist with building sustainable processes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process end-to-end payroll for multi-state and/or international employees, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and commissions
• Audit timekeeping and attendance data while maintaining data integrity across multiple systems (e.g., Workday HCM, ADP payroll)
• Partner with HR and Finance on payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Coordinate with People Operations, People Tech, and Benefit teams to ensure accurate employee data updates
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting year-end processing
• Generate payroll reports for audits and compliance needs
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and continuously identify areas for process improvement

What you should have

• 2-4 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
• Strong understanding of payroll best practices, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws
• High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
• Proficiency in various software applications (e.g., Google Suite and Microsoft Excel)

Preferred Experience

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now; Workday HCM experience is a plus
• Experience with international payroll and equity compensation
• Background working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Familiarity with benefits administration and time tracking integrations

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $112,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
