The Commercial & Investment Bank Payments Controls Data Strategy team is responsible for building a platform to drive proactive and data-driven controls management, providing end-to-end transparency into the Risk and Control operating environment. Automating controls empowers product and control managers by providing intuitive visibility of risks, allowing timely, informative, and effective decisions.
As an Associate in the Payments Controls Data Strategy team, you will gather and analyze data to support the Business Controls Evaluation Platform (BCEP) and business intelligence capabilities using Qlik Sense. Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Products, Operations, Technology, and Support functions to drive components of the plan, ensuring a consistent approach and identifying risks and solutions.

- Develop and implement payment control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze payment transactions to identify potential risks and discrepancies.
- Analyze risk data tools and build intelligent solutions using workflows for analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payment security measures.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
- Engage in data analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Support risk-savvy business growth and build intuitive product design and development.
- Ensure business and operational control compliance.
- Engage in data modeling and design processes to measure impact on business results.
- Build and test AI/ML use cases to learn and predict risk patterns using the platform database.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in payment processing, risk management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven hands-on experience building user-centric business intelligence dashboards in Qlik Sense.
- Strong hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Experience with payment processing systems and software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to payments (e.g., PCI DSS, AML, etc.).
- Experience with Qlik Sense Visualization Extensions, Mashups, APIs, and Web Integration.
