As a Pathfinding Device Integration Engineer, you will work at the intersection of device physics, materials science, and process coordination. Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate novel device concepts and material systems to enable future scaling and performance improvements.
- Lead as an integration owner to align materials and process flows into cohesive, actionable technology solutions.
- Build and implement experiments in the R&D fab to optimize device performance and manufacturability.
- Analyze inline, parametric, and probe data to evaluate operating mechanisms and sources of variability.
- Collaborate multi-functionally with modeling, characterization, reliability, and establish teams to guide technology trade-offs.
- Communicate sophisticated technical findings and strategic recommendations to leadership and diverse technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and process integration.
- Proven record of innovation through patents, publications, or product-relevant solutions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sophisticated semiconductor nodes or non-conventional device architectures.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor build, architecture, or materials characterization.
- Familiarity with TCAD, physics-based modeling, and statistical analysis tools.
- Background working in high-stakes R&D or technology pathfinding environments.
