The Role

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to help expand Wonder’s presence across the film, television, and entertainment ecosystem in the United States.

This is an externally-facing role focused on originating and closing partnerships with studios, production companies, platforms, creative agencies, and brands.

The ideal candidate comes from a film or television studio, production company, or entertainment-focused agency background and understands how projects are traditionally developed, packaged, and financed, while also recognizing the role that brands and technology companies play in funding and shaping modern storytelling.

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, structuring partnerships, and translating Wonder’s capabilities into compelling collaborations across the entertainment industry.

This role sits at the intersection of creative development, partnerships, brand storytelling, and dealmaking.

What You’ll Do

Studio & Entertainment Partnerships

  • Identify and originate partnerships with film studios, production companies, streamers, and talent-led production entities.
  • Develop relationships across the Hollywood ecosystem including:
    • Studio development teams
    • Production companies
    • Talent agencies and management companies
    • Entertainment technology partners
  • Structure partnerships that enable Wonder to collaborate on films, series, and original IP development.

Brand & Agency Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with creative agencies, brand marketers, and entertainment-focused agency teams to identify opportunities for premium branded storytelling.
  • Work with partners to develop brand-funded or brand-supported entertainment projects, including:
    • Short films
    • Episodic content
    • Cultural campaigns
    • Artist and creator collaborations
  • Position Wonder as a creative partner for brands seeking cinematic storytelling powered by AI-native production.

Business Development & Deal Origination

  • Source and develop new opportunities for Wonder across film, television, premium digital content, and brand-led work. 
  • Lead early conversations with potential partners and translate those into structured proposals and collaborations.
  • Work closely with Wonder leadership to package projects, identify strategic partners, and advance deals through to close.

Bridging Traditional Studios with AI Production

  • Act as a translator between traditional studio workflows and emerging AI-native production methods.
  • Help partners understand how Wonder’s creative and technical capabilities can:
    • Expand storytelling possibilities
    • Reduce production timelines
    • Unlock new creative formats
  • Position Wonder as a trusted creative and technical partner for the next generation of filmmaking.

Project Packaging & Development

Collaborate with Wonder’s creative and production teams to package projects for partners. Support the development of:

  • Co-production structures
  • Strategic partnerships with technology companies
  • Brand-funded entertainment models
  • Innovative financing approaches for AI-native storytelling

Industry Presence

  • Represent Wonder across the LA entertainment and advertising ecosystem.
  • Attend industry events, screenings, festivals, and agency gatherings to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Help position Wonder as a forward-thinking studio partner within both Hollywood and the brand storytelling community.

Who You Are

5–8+ years experience in film, television, entertainment partnerships, or branded entertainment, ideally within a studio, production company, agency, or entertainment technology company.

Background in business development, strategic partnerships, development, or studio strategy. Strong understanding of how film and television projects are traditionally developed, packaged, financed, and produced. Experience working with brands or agencies on premium storytelling projects is a plus.

Highly relationship-driven with an existing network across the Los Angeles studio, production, and agency ecosystem.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment. Curious and optimistic about the role AI will play in shaping the future of filmmaking.

Compensation 

Compensation: $150k + meaningful equity.
