About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Partnerships Development Manager to join our team at ROLLER. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 or more days onsite each week in our Austin office. You will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our partner ecosystem, acting as the main point of contact for our partners, and driving strategic initiatives that strengthen these relationships. To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of the leisure and attraction industry, as well as our partners’ goals, products, and technology. What You’ll Do
  • Lead the strategy and execution for your assigned categories.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, providing exceptional support and fostering strong, collaborative relationships.

  • Collaborate with referral and integration partners to drive mutual success and growth.
  • Support sales initiatives by managing and promoting hardware packages to new and existing customers.
  • Develop strategies that enable partner-led sales and maximize revenue potential.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date partner data in Salesforce to track interactions and progress.
  • Use Salesforce data to monitor partner performance and guide strategic decisions.

About You
  • 3+ years of Go-To-Market (GTM) experience, with at least 1 year focused on partnership development.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience.
  • Based in Austin, Texas and open to working 3 days on-site in our Austin Office.
  • Solid understanding of technology and hardware; experience in SaaS is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM tools), with strong data management and analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building lasting relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities proactively.
  • A collaborative, self-motivated mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
