As a Partnership Executive - Health Plans you are in a highly visible role where you will manage a portfolio of health plan accounts (partners). For each of your partners, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the partnership by developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating and maintaining key relationships, and driving new sales opportunities by engaging with each partner's sales organization. This role requires occasional travel to effectively manage and cultivate strategic business partnerships.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead Strategic Partnership Initiatives: Oversee the development and management of strategic partnerships within your portfolio, including identifying and sourcing new partners, as well as negotiating and executing contracts.
  • Drive Strategic Enablement & Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with internal sales leadership and external partners to define and implement processes that secure new clients through partnership channels.
  • Foster Cross-functional Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key leaders across sales, marketing, and account management functions to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Co-Develop and Execute Strategic Initiatives: Partner with external stakeholders to co-create strategic initiatives such as sales training programs, joint press campaigns, case studies, webinars, and other collaborative efforts.
  • Analyze Partner Performance: Regularly assess the performance of existing partners through financial analysis and contribute to ABR/QBR sessions to identify areas of improvement and growth.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Sword Health at key industry conferences, partner-specific events, and sales kick-off meetings, advocating for the brand and strengthening relationships.

What you need to have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in strategic partnerships, business development, sales strategy, or a related field.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Interpersonal Expertise: Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage with diverse personalities and manage relationships with professionalism and tact.
  • Adaptable and Self-Motivated: A quick learner and self-starter, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage ambiguity and change.
  • Healthcare Industry Passion: A strong interest in the healthcare sector, particularly in understanding the complexities and challenges of industry transformation.

What we would love to see:

  • Experience working with payors, PBMs, or managing payor relationships, particularly in roles involving vendor point solutions, is highly desirable.
