Why Join Us

We’re building the OS for new gen creators. We don’t have rigid silos or endless process manuals; we trust smart people to shape their work and jump in where it matters most. You’ll help define how the world experiences our organization.

This role sits at the intersection of community, business development, and culture. You'll own the relationships with studios, creators, and partners who are actively pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI. You'll bring them into our orbit, deepen those connections, and create moments that define what Comfy means to the world.

What you will do

Partnership Program Management

  • Own and operate Comfy's end-to-end partnership program - from outreach and onboarding to ongoing relationship management and renewal.

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with studios, creative agencies, AI toolmakers, and platform integrators.

  • Define partnership tiers, benefits, and co-marketing structures; keep the program healthy, scalable, and high-signal.

Creator & Studio Partnerships

  • Build and manage relationships with top creators, influencers, and production studios who use or want to use Comfy in their workflows.

  • Design and run a creator program — gifting, early access, co-creation, ambassador structures — that keeps Comfy top-of-mind for the best builders in the space.

  • Collaborate with the social and content teams to co-produce creator-led content, case studies, and workflow showcases.

  • Work directly with studio clients to understand their workflows, identify expansion opportunities, and deepen product adoption.

Events

  • Own the events strategy and calendar: meetups, hackathons, industry conferences, and Comfy-hosted experiences.

  • Lead end-to-end execution — venue, production, logistics, speakers, sponsors, and follow-up — for both intimate gatherings and large-scale activations.

  • Track ROI and community impact from every event

Who you are
  • You've run or meaningfully contributed to a partner program at a fast-growing tech or creative company — you know what good looks like.

  • You have a strong network in the creative, gaming, or AI space — studios, creators, or toolmakers know your name.

  • You can build a relationship from cold outreach and keep it warm over years — you're a person people actually want to hear from.

  • You've executed events at scale without losing the details — you know the difference between a great event and a forgettable one.

  • You think in systems — you build programs, not one-offs. You like making things repeatable.

  • You thrive in a small, fast team. You don't wait for permission. You ask good questions and move.

  • You are genuinely excited about visual AI and what creators are building with tools like ComfyUI.

Required Skills
  • 3+ years in partnerships, creator relations, or community programs.

  • Experience managing events from ideation to execution, including budgets, vendors, and logistics.

  • Comfort with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and affiliate tracking systems.

What is ComfyUI?

ComfyUI is the world’s leading visual AI platform — an open, modular system where anyone can build, customize, and automate AI workflows with precision and full control.

Unlike most AI tools that hide their inner workings behind a simple prompt box, ComfyUI gives professionals the freedom to design their own pipelines — connecting models, tools, and logic visually like building blocks.

It’s used by artists, filmmakers, video game creators, designers, researchers, VFX houses, and among others, teams at OpenAI, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Ubisoft, EA, and Tencent — all who want to go beyond presets and truly shape how AI creates.

ComfyUI empowers those who were not trained with the power of the brush to also be a painter, and those who are, to be a maestro.

  • Built for users who value transparency and control Infinitely extensible — thousands of community-made nodes and integrations

  • Scales from creative experimentation to production automation

  • Open-source, used by millions, and backed by one of the most active AI communities online

  • Evolving to democratize visual AI creation: empowering everyone from hobbyists to studios, storytellers, and enterprises to be more productive and creative than ever before

ComfyUI isn’t just another AI app. It’s aiming to become the operating system for visual generative AI , the foundation on which the next generation of creative tools are being built.

About Us

We are a small, intense, and well-funded team in San Francisco who push ComfyUI and its ecosystem forward. Our team comes from Stability AI and Google and many contributed to the ComfyUI ecosystem way before working here.

Our organization is flat and there is no hierarchy, only categories: dev, arts, prod, ops, etc (and no, there is no one here with the title of Member of Technical Staff, it’s long and silly for a job title).

The only thing that matters is the quality of your cultural fit and execution. We work hard and demand a lot of each other. But we have fun: everyone is here to make something meaningful that will end up being our life’s work. If this mission excites you and you view yourself as a top-tier talent, your future latent self is waiting for you at Comfy.

Check out our Github and blog for what we’ve been working on. Our investors include Pace Capital, Chemistry, Abstract Venture, and Guillermo Rauch.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
