Job Description

The Partner Success Manager furthers WGU’s mission of creating pathways to opportunity at scale by serving the talent management objectives of large and strategic organizations across the country in assigned student pipeline vertical. By positioning WGU as the premier partner of workforce development solutions, this position will ensure the objectives and evolving needs of existing and recently secured partnerships are met while keenly focusing on account growth, support, and strategic expansion. Serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client support, this position maintains strong relationships with client stakeholders while driving growth of WGU’s portfolio of workforce development solutions.
Impact

As a Partner Success Manager, Southeast Region, you will own and grow relationships with WGU’s corporate partners across the Southeast. You will ensure partners realize meaningful value from our education solutions while driving adoption, satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth aligned to workforce development goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with corporate partners to drive long-term engagement and success
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring strong partner satisfaction and alignment with workforce development initiatives
  • Identify and expand opportunities within existing accounts, increasing utilization of WGU degree programs, short-form learning, and apprenticeships
  • Support and contribute to regular business reviews, sharing performance insights and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Partner with internal teams including Account Executives, Marketing, and Operations to deliver solutions and resolve partner needs
  • Track and analyze key account metrics such as enrollment trends and product utilization to inform strategy and improve outcomes
  • Drive partner adoption and usage by prioritizing the end-to-end customer experience
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in partnership management with a record of high performance in solution selling
  • Proven experience in account management or client success with a track record of account growth and renewals
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships
  • Experience supporting contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling in a B2B environment
  • Ability to identify client needs and present tailored solutions that drive mutual value
  • Strong understanding of workforce development trends and how education solutions support organizational goals
Bonus Points
  • Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-directed with strong accountability and execution focus
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to deliver client outcomes
Experience in Lieu of Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Work Location

This is a full-time, remote role based in the Southeast Region of the United States, including TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL, MS, and AR.

Visa Sponsorship

This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed. Additional travel may be assigned as needed to support business requirements.
