What will the Partner Sales Manager do?
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Relationship Management: Empower partners to win more customer opportunities by providing education on Rux solutions, strategic sales and technical enablement, co-selling support, and access to enablement materials. Serve as primary point of contact with partners; ensure partner satisfaction, health, and retention.
- New Partner Development: Identify, recruit, evaluate, and onboard new partners that align with RUX’s value proposition.
- Enablement & Education: Develop and deliver training, sales tools, resources, and joint marketing programs to ensure partners are well equipped to represent, sell, deploy, and support RUX Software solutions.
- Channel Strategy & Execution: Work with leadership to define partner program structure, incentives, margins, tiers, etc., ensuring attractive propositions that align with company goals.
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams — product, marketing, customer success, support — to ensure partners have input, visibility, tools, and feedback loops. Ensure product roadmap reflects partner/customer needs where relevant.
- Market/Industry Knowledge: Keep abreast of rental & service industry trends, Microsoft channel dynamics, competitive landscape and bring insights to leverage in partner strategy.
- Contribute towards team goals in ARR growth
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven partner/channel sales experience 5+ years managing partner/reseller relationships, with measurable results.
- Experience in the Microsoft channel / Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem (Business Central, Dynamics, or similar) is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience in the industrial asset management space (equipment rental, field services, asset management, etc.) is a significant plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate partners.
- Data-driven: comfort working with partner KPIs, dashboards, performance metrics.
- Strategic thinker who also can execute — able to scope programs, iterate, and optimize.
- Willingness to travel ~ 25% (partner site visits, trade shows, etc.)
