About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

This is a partner marketing role that demands product marketing craft. You'll be the single-threaded owner of how every Claude launch lands on partner marketing surfaces. We reach many of our most important customers through our partners. When we ship a new model or capability, it doesn't just launch on first-party surfaces; it launches across our growing partner ecosystem, each with their own product pages, blogs, seller enablement, and go-to-market motions. Our product release cadence has accelerated, and we're looking for someone to own that translation end-to-end.

Model and capabilities launches are the core of the job and the majority of the work. The rest is solution launches — the joint and co-built solutions that land on partner surfaces alongside our models. The two halves reinforce each other. Model launches create the moment; solution launches translate what’s possible for the sellers and customers on the other side.

You'll be the first dedicated owner of launch readiness across our partner surfaces, consolidating work currently spread across several people and creating a center of excellence for how we do this work. This role centralizes launch coordination for our partners — briefing partner teams under confidentiality, shaping how our positioning shows up on their surfaces, and orchestrating execution cross functionally. You'll be the person who knows exactly what's available on which surface, how we're messaging it, and how it all fits together. You will use this knowledge to ensure our launches are positioned for the highest impact and amplification across our partners.

The job is roughly half launch execution and half building. On the execution side, you'll run the launch playbook. On the building side, you'll define what we haven't had the bandwidth to create yet. You'll set the standard for how Anthropic shows up on partner surfaces and hold the rest of the company to it, without anyone involved reporting to you.

Anthropic reaches a substantial share of its customer base through partner surfaces, and the ecosystem is still growing. How Claude shows up on the platforms where enterprises actually buy AI is largely unwritten. This is the role that writes it.

Key responsibilities
  • Own partner launch readiness end-to-end, serving as the directly responsible individual for every model, feature, and solution launch across the partner ecosystem — from the first briefing through launch-day go-live and reach reporting

  • Define the operating model for partner launches: set the standard for what readiness means, decide what's durable enough to share and when, and own the trade-offs when timelines and partner needs conflict

  • Equip partner sellers and solution architects to position Claude for a customer workload without escalating to us — segment-specific enablement, technical content, and the materials their field actually reaches for

  • Translate Anthropic positioning for partner surfaces, taking source messaging from Product Marketing and creating partner-specific versions that account for what's available where, what each partner needs to hear, and how the narrative lands on their platform

  • Own the go-to-market motion for joint and co-built solutions on partner surfaces — position what a partner and Anthropic have built together, make the value legible to that partner's sellers and customers, and land it across the channels where their buyers look

  • Work with Partnerships, Product, and partner-side teams to shape solutions into launchable moments, and make the call on which are worth a launch at all

  • Run launch execution – Manage cross-functional review cycles, support partner launch preparedness, compile post-launch reporting

  • Build post-launch momentum through partner webinars, technical content pipelines, and campaigns that keep partners selling after launch-day

  • Represent the partner perspective internally — surface Anthropic-direct launches that will affect partner relationships, flag partner-experience issues in product decisions, and make sure partner considerations arrive early rather than as a fire drill

  • Turn informal knowledge into documented, repeatable process as our release cadence and partner portfolio grow, and build the function so it scales beyond any one person

Minimum qualifications
  • Have done partner marketing or product marketing work for or on cloud AI/ML platforms — positioning products on AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or directly comparable surfaces, whether from inside a cloud provider or as an independent software vendor launching on one

  • Understand how cloud partner organizations actually work — how their sellers are compensated, what makes a partner's field choose to lead with one vendor over another, and how co-sell and marketplace mechanics shape that choice

  • Have written and rewritten positioning yourself, not only coordinated it; can tell what makes messaging land with a technical audience, and can spot the claim that Legal will flag before Legal does

  • Have set direction on programs rather than only executing them — defining how the work gets done and bringing others along, not inheriting a playbook

  • Can drive cross-functional work without direct authority, pushing internal teams and external partner organizations toward deadlines while keeping the relationships intact, in fast-moving environments where dates move and information is incomplete

  • Handle confidential information rigorously, including tiered need-to-know structures and pre-announcement codenames

  • Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial

Preferred qualifications
  • A partner enablement background — you have designed and delivered enablement for a partner's sellers or solution architects, not only produced materials for them

  • Have worked directly at AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft, in partner marketing on AI/ML services

  • Have taken joint or co-built solutions to market with a partner — reference architectures, industry solutions, marketplace offerings, or similar

  • Can position both a product and a solution — the launch of a new capability and the story of what customers build with it — and know that the two are different jobs

  • Have built a launch function or launch process from scratch, not only run an existing one

  • Background in competitive intelligence or competitive messaging

  • Experience marketing to developers or other technical audiences

  • Familiarity with cloud marketplace listings and the enterprise procurement motion

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Come work with us!

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
