Patreon is a media and community platform where creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. Over 300k creators are cultivating fandoms and building their businesses each month. Creators can offer free memberships to fans looking to explore more of their work, paid memberships to give access to exclusive media and community, or sell directly to fans with Shops.

Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:

  • 8B+ earned since Patreon's inception

  • 30M free new memberships in the first year of launching that option, and

  • 10M fans paying each month for exclusive access to creators' work and community.

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Partner Manager, to support our mission

This role is a Remote friendly role or open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model in our San Francisco or New York office.

About the Role

As a Dedicated Partner Manager, Podcasts, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 100-200 mid-market podcast creators in a 1:1 capacity, building a portfolio prioritization strategy, delivering strategic recommendations that help them grow their membership revenue, adopt product features, and stay engaged on the platform.
This is a traditional account management role that blends high-volume creator engagement with a strategic mindset. You’ll both execute programmatic outreach and run one-on-one consultations with creators. Your insights and relationship-building will directly impact retention and growth across the podcast vertical.
This is an exciting opportunity to help define how Patreon supports podcasters at scale — shaping best practices and partnering across teams to ensure creators thrive on our platform.
About You

  • You have experience managing a high volume of accounts in a hybrid scaled 1:1 model and thrive on building meaningful creator relationships at scale.

  • You’ve worked with podcasters or within the podcast ecosystem and understand the nuances of audio-first creators.

  • Experience negotiating and closing deals

  • You have a track record of growing customer or creator accounts through strategic support, feature adoption, and proactive outreach.

  • You’re data-informed and proactive — you know how to analyze performance signals and take action.

  • You’re excited to support creators with empathy and insight, helping them build sustainable membership businesses.

About Patreon

We hire talented and passionate people from different backgrounds across the organization. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t match with every bullet point outlined above, we strongly encourage you to apply anyway. If you’re a creator at heart, are energized by our mission, and share our company values, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
